This tag is designed to remind us of the simplicity of prayer. An uncluttered, pure look is achieved with the small, slightly clasped praying paws. Prayer is so important in our day-to-day lives, and just a glance of this tiny tag, with its simple play on words, acts as a reminder to us to take that moment to pray.
The Prayer Pause™ creation series is committed to echoing the call of the spirit. These little prayers mirror the simple queries, praises, and frightened corners that live within us all. The prayers are written to reach all ages and to touch all beliefs, because they are about human nature and the difficulties and joys that we all experience. The scripture verses are "noted but not quoted". Our intention with this series is to open the lines of prayer communications, not to preach. Many of us have different beliefs, but we all have the same human spirit, personalities, and needs that these prayers speak to.
The Whisper Works does not want to infringe on anyone's direction of faith, but would rather leave a prompt for the recipient of our adorable Prayer Pause™ bears to search the scripture, if they choose. We are not quoting from a particular bible version, because we have found that many people have a favorite, or a traditional interpretation that they prefer to use. This creation series aims to gently prod us to return to those moments of prayer that we enjoyed as children. Those were times when we went to God with a simple faith, a pure trust and a true belief that He would be there for us.
God can speak to our hearts no matter what bible we are reading from, or simply by reading these little prayers. Our hope is that you will enjoy.
