There are more than 2000 MOPS groups meeting the needs of mothers of preschoolers around the world.
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban and suburban moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best mom they can be!
MOPS is dedicated to the message that "mothering matters" and that moms of young children need encouragement during these critical and formative years.
Last summer, MOPS decided to introduce a custom bear to their groups around the world as a wonderful tool to promote the organization. MOPS would be offering "MOPPY" at their MOPShop web site gift store. Then came the excitement! Instructions were given to The Whisper Works to deliver "MOPPY" to the September conference site for a special introduction of "MOPPY" to the public. Two days later, The Whisper Works received a rather excited call to place a re-order. It seems little "MOPPY" was so popular that it sold out in just two days.
To those of you who supported the MOPS organization through your purchase of "MOPPY", thank you. And a special thank you for the patience of those who anxiously awaited the arrival of your Christmas "Moppy" because of this wonderful reception.
