Dorthea Bouchard Maynard, "Dottie" is the Founder of Dottie's Home Bakery and has been busy in the community with her wonderful business of 38 years, raising her six successful children and helping her neighbors and friends whenever in need of encouragement or assistance. Dottie started her bakery business out of her home in 1963 with her husband Ellsworth Maynard, and has seen much success and contentment through her 88 years of life here in Wisconsin.
Dottie and her family have decided to give something back to their community again. They have chosen to promote a bear to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association, in a small tribute of thanks. A portion of the profits from the sale of the "Dottie" bear will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association. Dottie and her family would like to thank all who help in the efforts towards finding a cure for Alzheimer's through the purchase of one of these beautiful "Dottie" bears.
